Refund policy

Short, because the interesting part is that most refund requests should never need to happen.

Last updated 7 September 2026

Failed work is never charged

Credits are reserved before we call a data provider and only converted into a charge once the work succeeds. If a call fails, times out, or returns nothing, the reservation is released automatically and your balance is untouched. If a rank run partially succeeds you are charged only for the keywords that produced a result.

This is the mechanism, not a goodwill gesture, and it means there is nothing to ask us for in the most common case.

Credit packs

Refundable in full within 14 days of purchase, provided the credits are unused. Partially used packs are refunded pro rata at our discretion. Credits that came with a subscription allowance are not purchased credits and are not refundable — they were included with the plan.

Subscriptions

Cancel at any time from the customer portal; it takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for and nothing renews after that.

If you paid for a period you have barely used — you subscribed, ran two searches, and realised it is not for you — email us and we will refund it. We are not going to make you argue for it. If you paid annually and cancel partway through, we refund the unused whole months.

Charged for something that looks wrong

Open the ledger on your billing page: every credit movement is there, with what it paid for and the balance after it. If a row does not make sense, send us the date and the amount and we will explain it or reverse it. Corrections are made as new ledger entries, so you can always see what happened and when.

How to ask

Email support@trynextrank.com with the account email and roughly what happened. We reply within two working days. Card refunds are issued by Polar and typically appear within five to ten working days.

Statutory rights

Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live. Where local law gives you a longer cancellation window than the one above, the law wins.
